The eRAID System utilizes high-performance 64bit RISC processor, 64bit memory architecture, built-in 64MB SDRAM cache buffer and 66MHz/32bit path at burst rate up to 266MB/sec to control five (5) hot-swap ATA-133 HDD (no size limit) with unprecedented performance whether in Share or Independent Volume configuration thru Serial ATA, and/or USB2.0 1394a/b interfaces.



With the eRAID System, RAID level 0, 1 (0+1), 3, 5 and JBOD can be controlled and managed through a front LCD control panel or by a platform-independent embedded management utility through RS-232 or USB port. This platform-independent method allows end-users (IT) to implement VT-100 console and/or HTTP proxy browser-base utilities.

The eRAID System�s capabilities include redundant flash image, the firmware mirror provides a unique redundancy feature, which ensures the system controller availability, as well as online RAID expansion, online RAID level and Stripe size Migration, automatic Failed Driver detection and Rebuilding, Global Online Spare, HDD hot-swap, Instant Availability and Background Initialization.



The eRAID System is the most cost-effective IDE disk drive array up to 1.5GB system, with completely integrated high performance and data protection capabilities, which is easily hot-plug/integrated into servers and workstations.
