We all know how to save Web site images by right clicking on them, but what if you want to do that for an application, your desktop, or some other type of screen capture?



With this download you can capture any image to a graphic file or send it directly to a printer. Options include capturing an entire screen, a window, or an arbitrary rectangle. You can also capture icons and buttons. GIF, JPEG, TIF, PCX, PNG, BMP, AVI, and other formats are supported.



Capture text from applications that don't support Cut and Paste, like error pop-up screens or the directory and files windows of Windows Explorer. Video Capture on-screen activity, including mouse movements, as a standard AVI video file and optionally add a voice-over during capture, to use for training, multimedia clips and user help documentation. The program includes a thumbnail browser, extended Windows capture, printer capture, and audio recording.



This latest update lets you put SnagIt into the toolbars of Word, PowerPoint, or Explorer, so you can access it within those applications.
