Russell Bedford International, the worldwide group of independent CPA firms, has continued the expansion of its U.S. network by welcoming a new member firm with offices in Spokane and Seattle, WA.
The new member, Williams & Webster, P.S., is a firm of certified public accountants and business consultants, providing auditing, tax consulting, valuation and litigation support services. The firm's primary specialisation is the auditing of publicly traded SEC-registered companies and businesses in the process of seeking a public listing.
Williams & Webster is a member of the AICPA's SEC Practice Section and Private Companies Practice Section, and it was one of the first CPA firms to register with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in September 2003. It is also a member of the Washington Society of CPAs.
The client base - which includes companies based in Canada and Europe as well as the U.S. - represents a broad spectrum of sectors, encompassing biotechnology, mining, oil and gas, IT, manufacturing, construction, distribution, real estate and agriculture.
Kevin J. Williams CPA founded the firm in 1990, and he was joined by John G. Webster CPA in 1994. Kevin has over 25 years of experience as a CPA, including five years with one of the Big 4 firms. John has been a CPA since 1987 and has extensive experience in auditing, tax services and consulting for closely-held businesses.
In 1999, the Spokane-based firm acquired an accounting practice in Seattle, where it has recently opened a new office in the heart of the downtown business district.
