an excellent, fingerprint sensor independent fingerprint search engine, which is intended for system integrators who need reliable and powerful Fingerprint Identification Engine for their security systems.
BioCheck Fingerprint Identification Engine is available as a software development Kit (SDK); it can be easily integrated into a customer's security system, and allows to achieve very high fingerprint recognition quality from any Scanner or Sensor type or fingerprint image files.
BioCheck Fingerprint Search Engine SDK V 1.05.01 supports C/C++, VB 6 and includes all necessary DLL´s and Header Files. The developer has complete control over SDK data input and output. SDK functions can be used in connection withany scanner, any database, and any user interface.
BioCheck Fingerprint Search Engine use a minutia based identification algorithm and for image pre-processing a new class of adaptive image filters. BioCheck Fingerprint Search Engine setting new standards in fingerprint recognition technology.
The automatically fingerprint feature selection sorts prints by feature classes (global features), thereby reducing the searching times significantly. Matching speeds between 20.000 prints per second in 1:N mode, sometimes even more are obtained as a result. Features from three different prints of the same finger are combined into one template, resulting in a virtual magnification of the scan area, and therefore an as yet unequalled exactness of recognition (FAR=0,0001%) with extremely small false rejection rates (FRR=0,001%) with an EER=0,76.
BioCheck Fingerprint Search Engine does not require the presence of the fingerprint core or delta points in the image or in the centre of the scan area and can recognize a fingerprint from any part of it. However, if these points are present, it uses them for more reliable recognition. Fingers can be placed on the reader with a rotation of up to 360 degrees. Only 27% of the enrolled print area are sufficient for accurate recognition.
Image Driver Control DLL with function for starting and stopping image acquisition are available for some Fingerprint Input Devices.
