Strategic Partners Begin Servicing Builders and Contractors in Ventura, Los Angeles and Orange Counties
For_Immediate_Release:

April 2, 2004 (Press Release) -- Elk Grove, CA.-April 2, 2004 - Concrete Washout Systems, Inc., announced today that it has signed licensing agreements with two companies that will distribute and service Concrete Washout Systems in Southern California; Pollution Solutions, Inc. and Monarch Concrete Washout, Inc.

Pollution Solutions, Inc. (PSI), an established Storm Water Pollution Prevention contractor, began servicing the Ventura and Northern Los Angeles County markets in the beginning of 2004 and will open the San Joaquin County market later this year. The Concrete Washout Systems have been well received by construction professionals and PSI has deployed approximately 40 boxes in a short amount of time.

Monarch Concrete Washout, Inc. (MCWO), a start-up company specifically formed to distribute and service the CWS, will begin servicing contractors and builders in the Greater Los Angeles and Orange Counties, starting April 2004.

“We have been in contact with local builders, contractors and erosion control professionals recently and have received an overwhelming and positive response from all of them regarding the CWS”, stated Mike Koep, President of Monarch Concrete Washout, Inc. “I have been in the waste hauling industry my entire career and believe this is one of the most innovative products, unlike anything the waste hauling industry has seen. The CWS gives the waste hauler the opportunity to potentially double their margins compared to traditional waste industry services,” added Mr. Koep.

“As we have stated before, our goal is to aggressively expand and have licensed partners in every major market in California by the summer’s end 2004,” stated Kevin Mickelson, Vice President of Concrete Washout Systems, Inc. “Even though PSI and MCWO come from different industries, they both see the value, opportunity and potential in the CWS and our business model,” added Mr. Mickelson.

Licensed partners will own and operate a Concrete Washout Systems business in their protected region where they will be responsible for all aspects of the business.

The patent pending CWS is a portable, self-contained and watertight bin that controls, captures and contains concrete washout material and wastewater. It allows trade personnel to easily washout concrete trucks, pumps and equipment on site and facilitates easy off site recycling of the same concrete materials and wastewater, while protecting the storm drain system from potential illegal discharges. The off site recycling component yet again creates an even more environmentally sound application. This system replaces other outdated washout BMP’s, which are costly, unsightly and damaging to the environment since their containment value diminishes, due to inherently faulty material, over use and lack of maintenance.
