For_Immediate_Release:

April 7, 2004 (Press Release) -- Thinksoft, Leader in Independent testing of financial software and NSE.IT Limited, a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), today announced that they have formed a strategic partnership that will expand their service offerings and value delivery to stock exchanges and related participants in the securities domain across the globe.

Testing is increasingly being viewed as a specialist activity and this is reflected in the increased level of outsourced testing. The market for testing services in the securities segment is estimated at USD 50 mn.Thinksoft and NSE.IT given their respective strengths in domain focused approach and domain expertise is well placed to leverage this opportunity.

Under the terms of the partnership, NSE.IT and Thinksoft will leverage their domain strength and testing expertise to jointly offer requirements assurance services to global clients in the securities domain. This combination will give customers the benefits of best practices from these leading players in Securities and Independent testing.

“Thinksoft is delighted to partner up with NSE.IT, and to be working closely with a company that is at the forefront in deriving business benefits from technology in the financial world", said Asvini Kumar, CEO Thinksoft Global Services. "We believe that NSE.IT's domain expertise in securities coupled with Thinksoft’s 1 Million person hour track record of independent testing for global banks will enable us to present a compelling value proposition to our customers." Satish Naralkar, the MD and CEO of NSE.IT, is confident that “Thinksoft and NSE.IT will be a winning combination in the niche area of independent testing for organizations especially those who work in the securities domain.”
