April 7, 2004 (Press Release) -- VENTURE TECHNOLOGIES ADDS EAST COAST Executive Presence Presence

Minneapolis, February 6, 2003 – Venture Technologies, LLC, today announced the addition of a new partner to the firm, Wayne Jenkins. Based in Rhode Island, Mr. Jenkins will provide the firm with an East Coast Executive Presence Presence and increase the capabilities of the firm through a broad range of experiences, skills and contacts.

Mr. Jenkins is a financial communications consultant with a wide-ranging background in both the technical and financial arenas. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University. After a 12-year engineering career, Mr. Jenkins transitioned to the field of financial communications. Through his consulting firm, IR Specialists, Inc., he helps small companies build market awareness, improve liquidity and increase shareholder value through improved communications.

"In today’s economy, most sources of venture capital have virtually disappeared," Mr. Jenkins said. "Venture Technologies serves a critical need by providing growing companies with the guidance and direction needed to secure capital. This allows entrepreneurs to focus on building their business. I am proud to join the VT team and see it as complimentary to the other services I can provide."

“We see the addition of Mr. Jenkins as an important step in increasing the reach and effectiveness of the firm. There are a large number of venture capital firms in the Boston to New York corridor and having a partner located in that area will allow us to expand our network of funding sources,” said Bill Walters, general partner.
