Each section in a chapter explains an issue in clear English and provides accompanying and demonstrating examples. Then the reader is presented with a hands-on exercise to apply the concept taught in that section. This ensures that the programs are not simply presented: they are practiced.
All programs in this book were tested and compiled successfully using KDevelop and g++ on Linux, Borland C++ Builder, Dev-C++, Microsoft Visual C++ 6, and Microsoft Visual C++ .Net on Microsoft Windows.
