(Free-Press-Release.com) April 16, 2004 -- South San Francisco, CA, April 16, 2004 � BioCardia, Inc. announces the arrival of Nick Fravala who has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company.

Nick joins BioCardia with over 17 years of experience in the interventional vascular field, including responsibilities at Bacchus as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Arterial Vascular Engineering (AVE), where he was on the original coronary stent sales management team, and Medtronic, as the first Western Regional Sales manager for the AneuRx AAA device. Nick also has previous experience in various marketing and sales management roles at J&J Cordis and Abbott Vascular Devices. Nick has a B.S. from Hillsdale College and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
