Anthony Prusak Joins Big Guys as Vice President of Marketing
Cleveland, Ohio (May 4, 2004)- -Big Guy’s Pizza located in the historic Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland today announced the hiring of 20-year marketing and hospitality veteran Anthony Prusak as its Vice President of Marketing. Reporting to Co-Founder and CEO John Hotz, Prusak will oversee Big Guy’s creative and brand marketing, field marketing and marketing strategic planning and analysis. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the company's marketing, Prusak will now assume responsibility for community and public relations, brand menu management and research and development, including new product development on a part time basis. Prusak has taken an immediate equity interest in Big Guy’s Pizza as well.
"Tony offers not only years of hotel and restaurant industry marketing experience, but also expertise in brand strategy development," commented Hotz. "I'm confident he will help us take our marketing strategy to the next level. Tony has already hit the ground running, he has already begun restructuring our Marketing discipline to bring a more unified approach to telling the Big Guy’s story among our local community.
Prusak most recently served as Vice President and Managing General Partner for BIMG Hospitality Corporation. In this capacity, Prusak oversaw all public relations, marketing, advertising and financial reporting of the 806 Wine and Martini Bar, and supervised the daily operations. Prusak continues to hold an equity interest in 806 at this time period.
Prusak began his career with Marriott Hotels and Resorts, spending over ten years there in sales and marketing positions. In addition, Prusak has worked for Renaissance and Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. He earned a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Mercyhurst College, Erie, PA.

Big Guy’s Announces New Head of Marketing
The ownership group of Big Guy’s Pizza will begin focusing on purchasing greater Cleveland area under-performing restaurants assets and renovating and converting them to become market leaders with outstanding financial performance. This strategy incorporates the discipline that the fully renovated pizza parlors must be completed at total costs that are substantially below replacement costs. The Company plans to continue to execute this strategy commencing in August 2004.
Big Guy’s Pizza serves voluptuous NY-style pizzas, laden with cheese and cooked in gas-fired brick ovens. Specialty pies feature seafood, southwestern, Polish and Hawaiian ingredients. Dough’s and toppings are prepped fresh daily. Big Guy’s Pizza is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
