May 6, 2004 (Press Release) --
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Sinar Bron Imaging today announced a price decrease on the popular Sinar 54H digital back. This 22MP, multi-shot back was introduced in 2002 and took the professional imaging world by storm.
Sinar was the first to introduce the 22 mega pixel back, shattering the previous record. The 54H features the highest resolution color full frame CCD available. It has a sensor measuring 36.7mm x 49mm with a 4:3 aspect ratio making it the first full frame CCD for the 645 medium format. Capable of 1, 4, and 16 shots, it can produce up to files up to 510 MB with the highest photographic quality imaginable. The sensor features a new color pigmentation for the best possible color stability and for greater dynamic range. The combination of the large optical format of the sensor with 4080 x 5440 pixels and an edge length of 9/1000 mm leads to a truly sensational image quality.
The Sinarback 54H can be adapted to practically all medium format cameras. To change the camera, all the photographer needs to do is to change adapter plates. This makes it possible to achieve the maximum resolution with most modern medium format cameras.
Sinar Bron Imaging has lowered the price a remarkable 15%, making the multi-shot back available for only $27,900.
