May 14, 2004 (Press Release) --
Angelia Phillips-Buihner is living her dream. The Bay Springs, Mississippi native has recently had her first book published. Her book "Handbook for Single Moms Raising Little Boys - A Comedy of Errors" is a hilarious look at the perils and pitfalls involved with raising an opposite sex child alone.
Angy, as she prefers to be called, is the daughter of Gova Gerald Phillips of Louin. She graduated from Bay Springs High School and credits high school English teacher, Mrs. Thelma Peyton with encouraging her writing. She has written since high school, but this is the first manuscript she has ever submitted. She currently resides in Oklahoma City with her son, where she is studying nursing and writing in her spare time.
Her book can be ordered from any traditional or on-line bookstore or from the publishers website (www.publishamerica.com). There is also a link from her website (www.okauthor.com) to order the book or to contact Angy.
