Sophisticated Vibes is a woman-owned woman-centered internet retail store providing only the highest quality vibrators and sensual massage products. The impetus behind this endeavor was an exploration into self-care, self-love, and self-definition by the owner. It is her hope to bring her own experience of the use of sensual products for self-care to other women.
The owner of Sophisticated Vibes is a self-proclaimed feminist, and graduated with a B.A. in Women's Studies, and is currently pursuing a PhD in another field; she also has a history in retail sales, and website design. In this project she hopes to bring together both her academic passions and her practical work history. Currently she has a private label line of sensual massage products in the development phase; in the interim she has provided a selection of the finest products available in the industry.
This website will not only include those products deemed to be the best the business has to offer, but will also contain frank discussions of sex, sexuality and feminism as well as practical information on vibrators and associated sex toys.
