ACA Presents “A Summertime Interlude”
(CHICAGO, IL) MAY 16, 2004 – The third annual “A Summertime Interlude” Entertainment Extravaganza and Fashion Show will take place on Saturday, June 26, at Zza Zzo Club (551 N. Ogden Ave.) at 7:15pm. The Fashion Show will feature Pure Elegant Haute Couture and Chicago’s finest entertainment.
The summer collections are trendy but not faddish. This event features the most creative and talented national and international fashion designers of couture. The designers have combined the latest technology with flawless elegance and impeccable aesthetics; form, color, and materials blend together seamlessly to give the high-luxury and quality designs chicagoans expect.
The show, promises to be a stunning spectacle of eye-poppin’ colors and stylish one-of-a-kind pieces. This will be the premiere of Haute Couture Fashion at its best with a fusion of exciting entertainment. The show producers Darlene Demarkco and Diane Gottlieb are cleverly bringing together skilled hand-tailoring, quality entertainment and never before seen creative styles that is about to change the dynamics of fashion and entertainment in Chicago. “The garments débuting represent an artistic statement from the designers without the limitation of mass production concerns,” says Demarkco. “With our fashion shows we are experiencing a renaissance in the art of couture here in Chicago," adds Gottlieb.

The show will also include the latest glittering and dramatically-elegant signature evening and wedding gown collection from Chicago's renowned Award-Winning Designer Quinton de' Alexander,
Another special treat for the evening will be the visual transformation brought to you by Brian Hargrove. Hargrove’s style is a mix of art and couture with a fusion of the improvisational. Brian rarely plays it safe with contrasting images that create on one hand decadence and on the other, refined glamour.
Beria Danridge brings her dreamy, colorful garments to the stage with her special style of creations from young, exotic, and sexy fashions to older, classy, and conservative pieces while each garment remains a single work of art suitable for all women.
THE EVENING:
7:30 - 9:15, reception with hors d'oeurvres and beverages
9:30 – 11:15pm, entertainment, and fashion show
The evening will be filled with an array of launching fashion lines, performances by professional dancers, singers, and fresh new faces on the catwalk. Special invited guests include Snoop Dogg, Bishop Don Magic Juan, Minister Seamore, RAZ – B of (B2K) and RUFF – RYDERS.
