HOTSPOTS Kiosks partners with CTS-MCO to provide BlueGo transportation kiosks maintenance and digital content.
Lake Tahoe, NV—CTS-MCO has selected HOT SPOTS Kiosks and MultiMedia, a local marketing and interactive communication firm, to help manage their BlueGo kiosk network by providing real time monitoring and maintenance. HOT SPOTS is also responsible for developing a revenue stream through advertising sales on the kiosks, display advertising inside BlueGo vehicles and wireless Internet access.
As part of the agreement, HOT SPOTS is providing additional content for the BlueGo kiosks, incorporating their Virtual Concierge design into the BlueGo interface. The revenue generated by advertising sales will help offset operating costs for BlueGo to keep South Shore moving. Dynamic visual presentations of local businesses will be available to thousands of visitors and locals in prime locations in hotels around Lake Tahoe.
BlueGo is a coordinated public transportation system that combines easy, convenient, and personalized transit services to both locals and visitors. Using computerized touchscreen kiosks that have been strategically placed in 27 convenient locations around the South Shore, BlueGo offers On Demand ordering of casino shuttle services and door-to-door rides, as well as access to general shuttle information, route maps and schedules.
On-going maintenance is a key component of the new agreement. HOT SPOTS and BlueGo are both committed to improving reliability and usability of the kiosks. HOT SPOTS has kiosk technicians that will routinely monitor kiosk performance from one central location, along with on site visits to each kiosk location.
