Pat Means, Founder of the African American Business Summit, announced today that Gloria Mayfield Banks has been named Chairperson of the Wells Fargo sponsored 7th Annual African American Business Summit. Themed, Powerful Solutions to Build Your Power Business, this three-day event is scheduled June 17th - 20th at the Marriott Hotel in Irvine, California.

Ms. Mayfield Banks received an MBA from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from Howard University. She worked in high-level sales and management positions for Polaroid, IBM, Stratus Computers and was the Assistant Director of Admissions at Harvard Business School.
Gloria lives with her husband Ken, on three secluded acres just outside of Baltimore. Their blended family combines two boys and two girls, ages 18 to 24.
