Today PC game download site Tested And Approved ( http://www.tested-and-approved.com ) announced it's plans for June. First, a free copy of EA's new release EA Sports Collection. Second they are accepting reviews for games featured on their site with a chance to be the exclusive review for that game.
Steven Jumper, Tested and Approved's lead editor, "We wanted to add reviews to our site, but at the same time avoid the problems associated with auto submissions. It was decided early on that the reviews should be done by our guests not us. By having played most of the games ourselves, I guess that allows us to approved which review will make the final cut. We think it's a fun different way to approach adding reviews to a site."
What about the free game? Steven continued,
"Let's face it, a lot of people just like visiting our site and downloading games, not participating in it with reviews. It wouldn't be fair to them to have the reviews be our only contest. So we decided to throw in a drawing for a free copy of Electronic Arts new release, EA Sports Collection as well. All you have to do is sign up for our free newsletter, and your entered."
Tested and Approved continues to grow adding games almost daily. For so many things going on, and such a large collection of games, it's hard to believe they have only been up and running for a little over a month.
"Our first month we had Action Games Month , and it went extremely well, largely due to the release of Ricochet Lost Worlds. We wanted to continue doing fun things on the site, and do so from here on out. There are tons of game sites out there, there should be a reason people would want to come to us, besides just having a lot of games."
