Attention thebasement.com.au has been MURDERED!
Live radio/tv broadcasts are being taken off the air!
The fact that "Unfortunately we have not had the response from advertisers that we hoped for and cannot afford to continue" means you should have hired someone different in the first place who could do the job. The job was not done correctly. This is/was a great station.Your business judgement should not mean the demise of such a cultural exchange. (and if anyone has the funds to buy this station please save it from its management or better yet hire all the basement vjs and double their salary) To the basement management this is To who is responsible for this I wish to let you know how:
Shocked, dismayed angry and horrified that an integral part of Australian Musical Society is about to be lost. I have heard and bought music I never would have been exposed to without thebasement so have my friends and other family members. We make this plea We ask that you reevaluate your choice! Do Not take the basement off the air I urge you to dig deep real deep and find the funds required. Telstra should think and reconsider as a consumer I have buying power and I will not support this company without the basement and its vjs.
