June 2, 2004 (Press Release) --
The Sarbanes-Oxley Forum is one year old. This well known portal was developed to provide a platform to enable peer to peer assistance for those striving to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and has grown rapidly.
With hundreds of daily visitors, over 400 members (free), and with an extremely lively debating board, it has clearly been a great success.
The Forum website was conceived in June 2003. It wasn't until September, however, that it was finally uploaded, and the first post made. In recent months the original mission of the Forum has started to come to fruition, with posters openly assisting one another, and even employment positions being offered.
The webmaster of the Forum expects the growth to continue: "The Sarbanes-Oxley Forum meets a niche demand, and compliments other resources perfectly. In reality, a lot of businesses can actually help each other directly with legislation, with minimal effort. Hopefully the Forum will be seen as a key enabler for that".
The Forum itself can be found at: http://www.sarbanes-oxley-forum.com
