June 7, 2004 (Press Release) --
The Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) has approved 365 Connect as an online “Resident Service Provider”. 365 Connect will now appear on TSAHC Resident Service Compliance Forms as a major resident service item that an affordable multifamily community can officially provide to its low- and very-low-income residents. An acknowledged pioneer in electronic resident programs, 365 Connect appears to be the first Internet-based resident service portal to receive such approval.
365 Connect provides a host of resources in various categories including the ability to locate schools, doctors and government resources. The system works through an exclusive community portal, allowing access only by residents of that community. Residents are automatically tabulated on a “unique” basis, much like traditional methods used by affordable communities in hosting educational and self-improvement events. A self-generating report is produced in electronic and printable form at the end of each month for convenient submission to TSAHC as an attachment to its standard resident services compliance reports.
365 Connect represents the culmination of two years of development by a collaboration of non-profit affordable housing owners, management companies and housing agencies. The Internet portal and its content have evolved from a simple system of informative “links” to an interactive electronic resource that offers many benefits and efficiencies to residents, managers, regulatory authorities and owners. In creating multiple methods of communication, 365 Connect brings into focus the true notion of community that is lacking in many affordable housing properties.
About 365 Connect: 365 Connect is a company built by a team of multifamily housing professionals with extensive knowledge in development, management, and technology. 365 Connect specializes in servicing the multifamily industry with an array of web-based products that create management efficiency, resident retention and leasing integration.
