June 28, 2004 (Press Release) --
Every romance is important, not just the boy meets girl, happily ever after settings in fictional romances. Vintage Romance Publishing, a publisher of nostaligic romances set between 1900 and 1969, is now looking for non-fictional love stories. Did you meet the love of your life during our specified time period? Did you marry him/her or just carry the beautiful memories with you as you continued your life without your heart’s desire? Or do you know of a family story which always brings a tear to your eye or a smile to your face?
Bring us your happily ever afters, your lost love stories or even the true romantic comedies, whatever memories you have between the pages of your scrapbook. We want to know the magical tales of life and love during the early to mid-Twentieth Century. Did you meet your love during one of country’s wars? Or perhaps you want to tell us your grandparents’ story. Whether you’re a published author or a beginning writer, if the time period of your love fits between 1900-1969, we want to hear from you. Just remember to show us the story. Don’t just tell us. We want to feel every nuance of the time and relive the memories with you or your ancestors.
Please give us a brief outline of your story and why you feel it should be shared with the world. Send the information directly to our editor, Dawn Whitmire, at editor@vrpublishing.com and we’ll give you the information you need to submit the full manuscript should we desire to read it.
We look forward to hearing from you and to reading the tales of your lives.
