EXAMINING THE BAREFOOT DOCTORS OF CHINA LEADS TO A NEW APPROACH IN HEALING

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 30, 2004 -- American Barefoot Doctor's Manual, a nonfiction book published through the online content marketplace Lulu.com, tells the story of Dr. Scott's own life and death experience in Thailand and his search for answers as to what happened there. In coming back to the US Dr. Scott found the answers to his questions and began to bring the many pieces of his life and practice togather.

American Barefoot Doctor's Manual, is a compilation of global approaches to healing. " I took some pretty serious conditions I have encountered in the past and laid them out like a cookboook", says Dr. Scott, "things you might not see anywhere else". He was, he explains, captivated by the desire to bring together an international approach to healing the mind, body, and emotions. Dr. Scott decided to use the Chinese Barefoot Doctors as the symbol for his book on self-care. "The magic of what happened in Thailand drove me forward. I just let it flow," he explains.

Though he never had any intention of writing about Thailand or compiling the most powerful global medicines he knew of, Dr. Scott says that after begining ABDM, he knew he should keep the door open for other volumes. He plans to follow up this volume with 6 more covering various topics of health and wellness.
