July 5, 2004 — Sales Force Management Software, a global sales productivity solution provider, today announced that it has appointed Mr. Charles Tan to lead its Asia-Pacific Operations. Mr. Tan will launch and manage the Sales Force Management Software Asia- Pacific headquarters in Singapore. Sales Force Management Software products will be available in Singapore and Malaysia within the coming weeks and in several other locations after that.
As a sales and IT professional, Mr. Tan brings with him a unique set of skills in sales and has many years of experience in the IT industry specializing in e-Learning instructional design.
Prior to joining Sales Force Management Software, Mr. Tan was Software Business Director at GrandTech Systems, which has an annual group turnover of USD50 Million. Besides other major product lines, GrandTech distributes Macromedia software in Taiwan, Hong Kong and until recently, Singapore. Prior to that, Mr. Tan was Vice-President of Sales and Creative e-Services at Pericon.com from 2002 to 2003. Pericon.com was the exclusive distributor of Macromedia for Malaysia and Singapore for more than ten years. Mr. Tan earned an MBA from the University of Hull, England in 1990 and holds professional qualifications in marketing and finance.
