HomePyramid.com Builds a Pyramid
HomePyramid.com introduces a new pricing system that should be appealing to contractors who are wary of spending money on highly sought after project leads.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 12, 2004 --
Westland, MI (July 12, 2004) -- HomePyramid.com today announced the introduction of its clever new pricing system for construction industry project leads. The patent pending system was designed for HomePyramid.com's reverse auction type of bidding environment in which multiple contractors compete against each other for a particular project lead. As more contractors purchase a project lead, the price for that lead decreases.
Christopher A. Grzebyk, founder and CEO of Home Pyramid, Inc., is the mastermind behind the new pricing technology. "We call it our Pricing Pyramid," says Grzebyk. "Before, a large number of bidders was a deterrent to interested contractors. Now, purchasing a popular lead is less risky."
Contractors are reluctant to purchase a lead if they are unsure they can win the project, or if a large number of contractors have already purchased the lead. HomePyramid.com accommodates the contractors' decreased chances of winning by also decreasing the price they will pay for the lead. The project lead prices are determined after the auction is expired and all contractors have received the lead. All lead recipients end up paying the same price for the lead. Though this pricing system was created to help solve a problem for HomePyramid.com, the company has other plans for the patent pending pricing. The system can be used in any industry in which leads are sold. They are even considering licensing the technology to other interested companies.
HomePyramid.com is based in Westland, MI and launched in March of this year. The service lets contractors compete online for construction or maintenance projects submitted by individuals seeking residential or commercial estimates. The company made appearances at the Downriver Home Improvement Show in Taylor, MI and at the Spring Home and Garden Show at the Novi Expo Center. To see more, visit http://www.HomePyramid.com.
