Amman, July 2004 – Jordan Gulf Bank has recently signed agreements with Advize|Grey and TRACCS Jordan Public Relations to re-launch advertising campaigns, prepare new programs, and implement public relations strategies for the Bank. The appointments follow the decision to change the Bank’s name from Jordan Gulf Bank to Jordan Commercial Bank.
Under the terms of the agreement Advise|Grey will launch a new advertising vision for Jordan Commercial Bank, while TRACCS will develop a public relations capability for the Bank by implementing effective external communications strategies and instituting in-house programs to create team spirit with the objective of enhancing productivity. These programs will be supported by a training system to build skills and increase efficiencies among the employees.
In addition, the public relations brief includes strengthening relations with the local press corps, and developing corporate social responsibility programs designed to weave the Bank into the fabric of the Jordanian community by addressing local needs and while fulfilling the corporate objectives of the Bank. TRACCS will also be responsible for building stronger relations with the Bank's various stakeholders and keeping them abreast of economic and technological developments in the banking industry.
