July 21, 2004 (Press Release) --
Houston Texas – Quick-Est Inc. of Westport CT announced the successful presentation of its estimating software at the 79th IGAEA* Best Practice Conference in Houston Texas. Mark Myers, President of Quick-Est and Gene Feher announced that they would be developing a textbook and syllabus to compliment the existing successful free software program for educators. The QuickEst™ software has demonstrated its unique ability for use in both the work environment and as teaching tool because of its single screen intuitive and instantaneous dynamic responses. With the new textbook and syllabus, educators will be able to teach estimating theory and practices along with a ‘state of the art’, software program. "Something that has not been done before." said Jerry Waite, IGAEA Past President.
