July 23, 2004 (Press Release) --
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 28, 2004 -- Have you ever been molested and rape or just plain abused? This is the life story of many but concealed it remains for so many reasons. Some think it's their fault, some feel threatened and others feel alone with out anyone to tell. Concealing the act and concealing the hurt. Williams unlocks this tragedy in writing to encourage all people of abuse, not only sexual abuse but all kinds to let it out, let it go and live.
Williams doesn't write a long story nor does she hang on the negative experiences of her life but she exposes them and the people who did them and she moves on. How can you move on? This is the question many ask? Latrice's story encourages and inspires and her unmistakeable faith in Jesus Christ may open the door to answers for you and your family.
The journey from Hurt to Healing began slowly for Maiya. As a young girl she suffered the common but sometimes hidden tragedy of molestation and rape for four years. She lived through abandonment and experienced her mother reappearing in her life all of a sudden only to call her a liar when she reveals her secret.
Maiyas life changes as she moves to a different city and is surrounded by loving people who help to shape her future. She begins to make friends, some of which will remain for a lifetime.
In her adult life, she becomes a well rounded individual living life to the fullest and experiencing all the joys that life has to offer, even motherhood.
After the hand that life dealt her, come and meet Maiya and experience not her pain but her triumph.
Reviews for Life's Experience
From Nicole Getridge, author of Shielded Heart:
"Latrice does a marvelous job at depicting this young girls life. Latrice Williams has written a novel about the love of family and the hard ships that we all face during our journey in life. I would keep an eye out for future works by this very talented first time author."
From D.A. Arthur, author of The Maverick Princess:
"Life's Experience -- A Triumph of the Human Spirit"
"Latrice Williams has a way of drawing the reader into the story. She makes the reader care for the characters and wanting to know what happens to them. The book was 82 pages. I didn't want it to end!"
From Fallon Lak, author of Torn Apart:
"Life’s experience touches your soul, your heart. It will keep you reading until the last page, with a fascinating ending. Life’s experience is must read, and the word of courage, strength, and hope should be passed to others. "
From April May Rollins, editor of Coffee Cramp Reviews:
"I feel honored to have a chance to read her story. I believe her message is a message for every woman - every Human being."
