The beautiful life-sized bronze statue of a young Elvis Presley planned for Shreveport Louisiana, has caught the imagination of the American media today. ABC Television, and other TV services, are also giving the story massive coverage, along with many Radio stations too. Newspapers, coast to coast, have printed the timely story.
From Mississippi to California, from New Orleans to Nebraska, Elvis is Back. In fact Elvis is now totally international! Even, "The Washington Post", used the Shreveport story:-)
The Shreveport Concert October 16th 2004, to celebrate Elvis's debut on the famous, "Louisiana Hayride", back in 1954, marks a milestone in the history of popular music-it was never the same again.
The 50th Anniversary of the event approaches, and the sales of Elvis DVDs and CDs top the music charts across continents!
