A truly unique sound and great songs has put them on many lips worldwide. Still unsigned but that wont be for long. This is what I could get out of the leadsinger Twitch Winter:



"Orphan's music is something beautiful, sad and at the same time something very broken. We truly make music that will talk to anyone that will listen to it. It was really hard at first when it comes to gigs and press, cuz there's this attitude out there.

Some say hey this is too brutal for us, while others say hey this is too soft. Not that it matters to us. I think this new generation of kids needs a band like Orphan. I mean my generation had Nirvana, kids need that.



We talk about things you dont talk about. Grief, sorrow, feeling alienated from the rest of the world and other topics that is like, well you know... you dont speak about it. Its true, there's alot of pain in our music, but still there's is a ray of light, its not big, just a dot, but its there.

I feel that we have done something that you are not supposed to do. and that is crossing to musicstyles that should not meet path. But I wouldnt call us crossover. Hopefully everyone will know what Im talking about soon"
