The Global Hockey Federation has named David Warbucks as its Chairman of the Board.
Warbucks, who hails from New York is an established businessman in internet real estate.
“I’m a big roller in real estate selling properties in Podunk, Arizona at around five-thousand a pop, so running a pro hockey league should be no problem. What works in real estate will work in pro hockey. Hockey’s my passion, I love watching the players scratch and claw their way up. That’s also why I own three of the teams.” said Wralings
The Global Hockey Federation is scheduled to being play in the 2004-05 season with four teams: the Fairview Falcons, Georgetown Flames, Idaho IceKingz, and Riverton Swissmen. www.globalhockeyfederation.com
