September 1, 2004, St. Louis, MO – The Selling Block, LLC (TSB) founders Michelle Isserman, Richard Holton, Jr., Gerry Jehling, and David Isserman announce the company’s incorporation, to help clients sell items through the Internet using the power of eBay.
”There is a great desire for our services within the region and we are very excited about the opportunity to help the St. Louis community. Our number one priority is to create a positive and rewarding experience for our clients.” said co-founder Michelle Isserman.
TSB has implemented a rapid expansion program that will provide it with an extensive presence in the St. Louis region over the next 12 months. “We’re focusing heavily on expansion and look forward to opening multiple locations around St. Louis,” explained Richard Holton, co-founder of The Selling Block. “We look forward to serving our clients at the very highest level possible and we believe this is even more attainable with multiple locations throughout the city and county.”

The Selling Block (TSB) is a full service consignment shop catering to individuals, non-profits, and businesses that wish to sell their items and excess inventory at auction in the worldwide eBay marketplace. Founder’s Bios
Michelle Isserman
Over the past thirty years, Michelle Isserman has represented hundreds of individual clients both in the United States and abroad, selling antiques, collectibles and collections. She has bought and sold antiques in the open antique market as well as entire estates. In addition, she is an experienced appraiser. A 1973 graduate of Washington University, Michelle is the owner of her own successful antique sales and appraisal company, Michelle Isserman Antiques.
Gerry Jehling
Gerry is also a graduate of Washington University and holds an MBA in advertising and marketing from the University of Missouri St. Louis. He attended executive management courses at the Harvard School of Business and Carnegie Mellon University. And as a guest lecturer, he taught community and public relations at Boston College.
Currently, Gerry is a partner, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clarkson Eyecare and is primarily responsible for the operations and growth of the company in the past ten years. Clarkson Eyecare currently has 18 offices in the St. Louis region.
David M. Isserman
Currently David Isserman is studying business and East Asian cultures in The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. His background includes formally studying art history in St. Louis and Paris and working for a prominent auction house in New York City. He founded and currently owns multiple companies within the marketing and technology industries.
