Singapore Manufacturers Federation (SMa) Readies Industry to Roar in Indian
The Singapore Manufactures Federation (SMa) is preparing it members and clients for an entry into India. SMa founded in 1932 and with a client and membership base of 2,500 corporations is taking a lead by organizing a seminar and talk sessions on the 23rd and 24th of this month. Noted Indian Lawyer Mohit Suri will brief the Singapore’s Business Leaders on:
1) "Outsourcing for Competitive Advantage: India, a Global Destination".
2) New Government and Investment Strategies.
3) Education Industry and Market in India.
There is great excitement ahead of the visit of Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Mr. Kamal Nath on the 8th and 9th of September to discuss CECA that will form the basis of a Free Trade agreement between the two countries. The Singapore industry looks optimistic on investments in India. The Singapore government wants Singapore to be a trading hub for Indian products and services and has assured higher investments in the India. The interest in the Indian market has been on a high in the island nation that has invested S$ 150 billion abroad.
SMa has taken the lead by organizing formal training for the Singapore entrepreneurs wanting to explore India. The tradition of showing the way to others has been upheld at SMa and the results are expected to be excellent. Most forward looking Corporations have already reserved slots for their participants and a far greater response is expected after the Minister’s visit. Singaporeans want to be prepared to explore the country which has shown great promise and meeting native experts in sessions like this would go a long way in achieving their Goals.
