�Queen for a Day� event for homeless women is a matter of numbers

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 19, 2004 -- EVERETT, WA. Homeless women and children from the Everett Gospel Mission will receive a special day of pampering and fun during Life Changes Ministries third annual �Queen for a Day� event on Sunday, September 19.

Approximately 50 homeless women from the shelter will head by donated limousine service to the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lynnwood. Their day will include complete makeovers from head-to-toe. Each woman receives a new clothing outfit suitable for work or job interview.

During the dinner program, two of the women from the shelter will reveal their extreme makeovers. Transformations that included extensive cosmetic dental procedures and high-impact personal image consultations.

The children will depart the shelter by bus to The Farm in Snohomish for a day of games, entertainment and a combined birthday party. The event begins at 1:00pm and ends at 8:00pm.
