Markland Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: MRKL) (http://www.marklandtech.com), an integrated homeland security company, announced that on a preliminary unaudited basis, it has recorded revenue of approximately $6,250,000 for the month of August 2004. The majority of this increase in contract revenues is attributable to the recent acquisition of EOIR Technologies Inc. by Markland.
