Cappriccieo M. Scates has consulted companies such as Sony/550, Columbia, Warner Brothers, Atlantic, Motown, A&M, Universal, and several others. He is a former Director of National Radio Promotions for Ruffhouse Records where he worked with the likes of the Fugees and Cypress Hill. He has been responsible for promoting the careers of artists such as Juvenile, New Edition, BlackStreet, Sounds of Blackness, Kim Burrell, Coolio, Meat Loaf, Shai, All 4 One, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Luke, Boyz II Men, Eazy E, Lost Boyz, Jon B, Rebbie Jackson, Erykah Badu, and N.O.R.E.
