FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
FreeAudioPlayer Musician’s Collective Releases Charity Fundraising Compilation Album
East Brunswick, NJ October 8, 2004 – FreeAudioPlayer (FAP), an international collective of musicians, announces the release of its first compilation album, “FAP Compilation Volume I.” Sales of this international collection of diverse, memorable music will raise money to help in the fight against childhood cancer. For every copy sold, FAP will donate $5 to the National Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF).
Featured on the album are some of the best independent artists representing a broad array of music genres, including European artists Susan Raven and Nina, and American artists Jon Solo, Black Diamond, Patti Sterling and American Gypsy.
“This is a great collection of songs which really shows the tremendous quality and range of the FAP artists,” said FAP member Jim Reeder. “From Nina’s dance music and Susan Raven’s folk/rock to Kim Novak’s beautiful ballad and Patti Sterling’s jazz, this is such a satisfying album for people who enjoy a variety of musical styles. You’ll find blues, soft rock, folk, country, pop, jazz and hard rock on this album, and I know that listeners will discover new music and artists that they will really enjoy.”
FAP representative Bob Loose said “Our two primary goals with this project are to raise money for a deserving charity and to share this superb music with our friends and fans around the world. FAP members selected National Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF) because of its excellent reputation for efficiently supporting research into developing new therapies for childhood cancer. Not only will this compilation album raise money for a very worthwhile organization, but listeners will own a great collection of music by international artists never before published together on one release.”
FreeAudioPlayer is an interactive community of talented artists who work separately and together to produce high-quality music. Some of the artists work on projects together, using new technological tools to collaborate, across the internet and in person. Some FAP members are also working musicians who perform professionally. The FAP community has developed since its birth in 1998, attracting people from all over the globe who seek out the high quality musical standards, peer-support and creative interaction for which FAP has become well-known.
