Joint customers have seamless connection with Mi-Forms data capture software and Horizon Healthwares Promise System

October 20, 2004 Horizon Healthware, a home care software vendor, and Mi-Co, the mobile data capture company, announced that Horizon has joined the Mi-Co Integration Alliance. The Alliance is designed to provide customers easy integration between Mi-Forms data capture and specialized databases.
The current emphasis of this alliance program is focused in the healthcare industry.
The Wilson County Home Health Agency is the most recent customer to integrate data captured with the Mi-Forms Software System, which is sent to and processed by the Promise System.
The Promise system has a solid market presence and Mi-Co is very pleased in having Horizon join the alliance, said Barrett Joyner, Mi-Cos Senior VP of Marketing and Sales Strategy. Home health agency nurses gathering information on their patients care now automatically send this information directly to the Promise System. The cost effective integration service provided by Horizon insures this seamless integration.
Working with the Mi-Co technical staff and their digital writing technology was very straightforward; said Regina Parham, CEO of Horizon Healthware. Promise customers that use Mi-forms for their data capture needs will find the systems working in concert to get their time and billing information efficiently through the process. Visit staffs no longer need to fill out a time sheet that is keyed in by clerical staff-all the necessary codes and times for generating billing and statistics are captured via Mi-Forms then merged into Promise. Plus, all the validity checks and safeguards are applied to the incoming data just as they would if keyed manually.
