Courtland Tyler will be attending the �Right to Rock� charity event to not only support the cause, but to donate three Fender Stratocaster guitars. �Right to Rock� will be held on the evening of November 6th , 2004 at DiPiazzas and will run from 8pm until 1:00 am. This California based, non-profit organization is focused on providing opportunities for students to engage in music programs despite the cut backs in government funding.
Courtland Tyler states, �Music is an abstract craft which enables children of all ages to expand their minds and express themselves creatively and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of that.�

While schools around the country are being deprived of adequate educational music departments, foundations such as �Right to Rock� have been providing the means to sustain such programs. It has been statistically proven that children who engage in creative extracurricular activities have a significantly higher performance level in other education related areas. Music provides a platform for children to develop the necessary skills to think conceptually, while allowing them to work in a collaborative environment which in turn develops their ability to communicate amongst their peers.
