Urban Gospel Alliance To Facilitate State Of Urban Gospel Music Panel
The Urban Gospel Alliance has teamed up with Dr. Bobby Jones to present Gospel Hip Hop to the fullest during the Bobby Jones Artist Retreat in Miami Beach FL on December 5-7, 2004. The Artist Retreats have attracted thousands of Gospel Artists and industry insiders from across the U.S. and beyond, and has given all attendees a chance to fellowship, network, gain knowledge of the music industry and strengthen their ministry in an intimate environment. Now at its 15th edition, this bi-annual event gives participants the opportunity to perform live and appear on The Bobby Jones Gospel Hours on BET and The Word Network. There are also many opportunities to learn how to get started or grow your music ministry through the many informative workshops and seminars the 3-day event has to offer.
The Urban Gospel Alliance will be presenting a one day hip hop session to include a panel discussion on Gospel Hip Hop’s place in the music industry and the current church environment. A hip hop showcase will follow featuring current Urban Gospel Alliance (www.urbangospelalliance.com) members.
All events for the retreat will be held at the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort, Miami Beach FL.
