“GRACE” is the story of an headstrong paralegal, Grace Johnson (VIVICA A. FOX), a woman who can sometimes be easily influenced by the one's she love. She works for a well-known law firm run by David High (OMAR EPPS), a sexual harassment case waiting to happen. Who along with office supervisor Cheryl Bates (REGINA KING) set out to make Grace’s life miserable. When Grace takes a day off to organize her boyfriend Dajour Wright's (JAMIE FOXX) surprise birthday party, in her travel she stops at a corner store for bottled water and ends up buying a lottery ticket. What happens next changes Grace forever. As fate would have it she wins the lottery for forty million dollars. Now young, rich, impressionable and judgement being considerably off, Grace becomes arrogant and short-tempered. Giving her co-worker and best friend Janet Hassle (GABRIEL UNION) ten thousand dollars out of forty million. This secretly offends Janet in a psychotic kind a way therefore Janet sets out to either get more money or ruin Grace’s life. The plan to ruin her involves Grace’s boyfriend being set up by sleazy private detective Mason Jenkins (WOODY HARRELSON), an ex-cop who has a past with Janet. The forty million has their eyes lit up like the lights in Time Square and if the money we’re to be theirs they would need grace's support team out of the way permanently.
