November 7, 2004 (Press Release) --
Kenosha, WI November 8, 2004 Photo Montages, digital photo slide shows showcasing photos and documents are rapidly becoming a popular method of sharing memories at special events. Kenosha based Digitally Remembered offers to scan and correct the photos, choreograph them to your choice of music and format it to DVD, all for a fraction of the cost of doing it yourself.
Brides and Grooms are sharing their love story, friends and families are celebrating the lives of lost loved ones, and families are telling their stories through these novel living scrapbooks. Owner, Cheri Esperon, founded Digitally Remembered when she saw the need to affordable alternatives to the high prices of internet-based companies. “I couldn’t understand why they were charging $300-$500 dollars, it just seemed outrageous to me. I knew it cost nowhere near that to produce them.” Digitally Remembered discounts the price of Memorial Montages to cost, Esperon states that Digitally Remembered doesn’t need to profit from the grief of others. “This offer of goodwill is simply my way of showing kindness when a family needs it most.” Regular montage packages cost between $50 and $250, which include custom designed labels, title pages and up to 3 copies of the DVD. Digitally Remembered also offers a free preview and rewrite service, something that is virtually unheard of in this industry.
In addition to offering the montage packages, Esperon includes consultative service free with the purchase of any montage. She will work with clients to find the most economical method to show these slide shows. By speaking directly with halls, DJ services, and funeral homes on behalf of the client, she helps to reduce the stress of staging the Montage. This can often be an expensive and technical nightmare. Many people become so overwhelmed in the process that they give up. By helping people through the technical issues, she hopes to open this technology to a while new group of people who would otherwise not have access to it. Esperon with the help of her husband, who is bilingual, is also working to introduce this technology to the Latino Community. There is no one offering to work with clients in Spanish, which is unfortunate, this is a wonderful was to celebrate in any culture, language should not be a barrier. As Digitally Remembered grows, they hope to offer the services in other languages as well.
Cheri Esperon is a stay at home mom and a returning college student. She runs Digitally Remembered out of her south side home. By working from home she has the flexibility to be with her children and attend on-line college courses. “I am also able to save on costs such as daycare and overhead. I pass these savings on to my clients,” says Esperon, “It is a win-win situation for everyone. My kids are happy, I get to make a little extra money doing something I love and offer a service at a price that almost everyone can afford!” For more information on Digitally Remembered, contact Cheri Esperon at 262-697-7663, or email her at DigitallyRemembered@hotmail.com.
