Holy Hip Hop Showcase & Panel Featured at Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat
Panel and Showcase Times Set, Major Label Participation Expected
Oakland, CA -- October 8, 2004 - Holy Hip Hop music will be making its way to Miami at the 15th Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat held December 5-7, 2004. A Holy Hip Hop Showcase and Panel discussion will be featured during the information, ministry, and entertainment packed retreat. Sponsored by Urban Gospel Alliance (UGA), the showcase will highlight some of the best independent Holy Hip Hop artists in the country.
The panel discussion will continue the popular and controversial topic of bridging the gap between the churches and Holy Hip Hop artists. Both sides of the issue will be represented, with pastors and artists chiming in on the subject.

"UGA's goal is to have some sort of urban gospel presence at all the major gospel conferences in order to foster understanding," stated Curtis Jermany, National Director of UGA. "The Bobby Jones Retreat is such an important event to anyone interested in gospel music ministry. We want all those under the banner of urban gospel to come out to represent, support, and learn."
Retreat activities will take place at the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort in Miami, Florida. Participants and presenters include leaders in the gospel music industry. The retreat is well attended by gospel music enthusiasts from all walks of life, including movie stars, corporate executives, writers, publishers, promoters, recording executives, and the media.
