Acrosser is shipping a new ATX motherboard for casino-style gaming devices such as video slot machines, poker, and themed tabletop games. The AR-B1791 supports Windows CE or XP Embedded, and meets all major state gaming commission requirements, according to Acrosser.
The AR-B1791 is an Embedded ATX gaming computer board, which featured with 3D graphic accelerator, Digital Dual Display, support write-protected Flash disk, battery backed SRAM, and extended Bios. This gaming product has already met all major requirements for States gaming commission.
Acrosser understands the demands of multimedia intensive gaming applications which is why they have integrated the ATI Radeon M9000 video chipset onboard. With this graphic acceleration, Acrosser is able to take gaming to the next level. The 855GME supports AC97 audio implementation delivering 20-bit audio for surround sound capability. The AR-B1791’s chipset utilizes the ATI 9180 ICP controller. This allows the AR-B1791 to support Intel’s Pentium 4 processor up to 3.4 GHz / 400~ 800 MHz FSB, for low power consumption with high performance CPU horsepower.
It also takes one PCI bus expansion, six USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, 2 LAN and 32-bit TTL connection header on board.
