November 12, 2004 (Press Release) --
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Senforce Announces Participation in The Cisco
Network Admission Control Program
Advances Leading Enterprise Mobile Security Manager Solution
for Location-Aware Endpoint Security
Draper, Utah –November 11, 2004—Senforce Technologies™ Inc., the leader in location-aware enterprise endpoint security, today announced support for the Network Admission Control (NAC) program, Senforce will license the Cisco® Trust Agent, a key component of the NAC program, with Version 3.0 of the Senforce Enterprise Mobile Security Manager (EMSM).
Scheduled for release in Q1 2005, EMSM will be able to communicate endpoint security policies directly to networking devices that support NAC. The product is designed to help ensure that only clients that are in compliance will be allowed to connect to the enterprise. This will help customers improve the way centralized security policies can be administered, enforced and verified at the network level.
The NAC program is an industry effort led by Cisco Systems that uses the network infrastructure to enforce security policy compliance on all devices seeking to access network computing resources, thereby limiting damage from viruses and worms.
Senforce EMSM is an innovative, technically advanced solution that enables I.T. to ensure central management, administration and control, and uninterrupted enforcement of security policies at the endpoints—regardless of a users’ location or method of Internet access. It is a complete solution for proactive network security policy enforcement that is designed to check system integrity, prevent intrusions, and control wireless connectivity, removable storage devices, access to applications and more.
