Freedombands provides wholesale rates and ability
for "two-causes-in-one" fundraising tactics

OREM, Utah - November 23, 2004 - Freedombands, Inc., today announced it will supply its Freedom Bands(tm) wristbands (a new product designed to show support for U.S. troops) at wholesale prices to schools, foundations, non-profit organizations and other groups conducting fundraisers.

"We wanted to create an opportunity for U.S. citizens to support our troops and simultaneously sustain local and nationwide fundraising needs," said Steve Cloward, president and chief executive officer of Freedombands. "In essence, this offers participants a chance to support two-causes-in-one. Many groups and organizations have already began selling Freedom Bands for fundraising efforts, and they're having great success."

The "two-causes-in-one" fundraising model allows youth and non-profit organizations to buy the wristbands at wholesale prices, and then sell them at a marked-up price to raise funds for summer camps, trips, membership fees/dues, equipment costs and other necessary items. Freedombands donates 100 percent of its after-cost revenue to the Armed Forces Relief Trust (AFRT) to aid U.S. soldiers and their families.

"While we could have sold the wristbands to raise money for our sports teams and clubs, we opted instead to use this as a twofold service opportunity for our school," said Marissa Smith, advisor for the Future Business Leaders of America at Alta High School in Sandy, Utah. "It has been phenomenal because we know people are eager to show the troops that they are thankful, and this provides a way to come together as a school while supporting the men and women overseas."

Smith explained that the students, ages 13-18 years old, chose to sell the Freedom Bands at cost and donate the money to the AFRT, in lieu of making money for dances or parties. In the first week at Alta, students sold more than 880 wristbands at school and in the community.

Embossed with the word "FREEDOM," these red, white and blue silicone Freedom Bands are now available online, as well as a marbled band meshing all three colors. Similar to those made popular by the Lance Armstrong Wear Yellow Live Strong Foundation(tm), the new Freedom Bands are intended to bolster support for the war on terror and the heroic troops who sacrifice for freedom.

The wristbands come in both youth and adult sizes, and can be purchased in packages of 10 for $10, or four packages of three with red, white, blue bands for $10, giving customers 12 bands for $10. For more information about Freedom Bands, please visit www.freedombands.us or call (866) 217-5595.
