Owner Jill Sorensen was like a lot of other moms out there. After being in "the business world" for six years, having children made Sorensen realize that she wanted to be at home, but still contribute to the family finances. "I started the business because I love fashion and shopping, and I wanted to do something from home for all the obvious reasons." Out of a passion for fashion and a desire to stay home with her kids, Jolie's Boutique was created.
Jolie's Boutique carries items from fine labels such as Haute Stuff, Poppy and Mimi, Funkie Baby, and Josiekat's Trunk. Hip moms can buy designer diaper bags, maternity clothes, baby duds, purses--even kid sized apron and chef hat sets.
"It was important for me to offer a line that was more fun than the traditional garb" states Sorensen. "Not every woman is into the traditional 'cutesy' clothes. Some of us want clothes with a little more personality."
Besides offering trendy clothes for moms and kids, Jolie's also offers a personal shopper service. This allows busy shoppers to email Jolie's a request for an item, which they will then find and ship to their customer. This is just one aspect of her customer service plan.
