ATLANTIC CITY NJ -- When you hear a deafening roar in the streets a few weeks before Christmas, more than likely it's a huge procession of motorcycles carrying new unwrapped toys to a U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots collection center.
While they've have done a great job for Toys For Tots over the years, it's not just bikers who open their hearts for the kids during the Holiday season.
How about those Vette Heads? They've got big hearts too!

1st Annual Atlantic City Toys For Tots Corvette Run on Saturday, December 11, 2004.
This event will benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots program based in Cape May County NJ.
The meeting spot for the 1st Annual Atlantic City Toys For Tots Corvette Run is the Frank Farley Plaza on the Atlantic City Expressway. This cavalcade of Corvette coolness -- which is expected to number 700 to 1,000 Corvettes -- will begin at 1:30 PM and will drive into the city!
In addition to great Chevrolet Corvettes from every era -- including the very first 1953 Corvette ever built and the latest 2005 Chevrolet C6 Corvette Convertible, the only one in the region -- we expect a number of major celebrities to join crowd. NJ State Police and the Atlantic City Police will provide the1st Annual Atlantic City Toys For Tots Corvette Run with an escort into the city.
To participate, just bring your Corvette and at least one un-opened, un-wrapped present.
The Corvette Run will end at 340 N. Albany Avenue, Atlantic City the showroom of Kerbeck Chevrolet...The World's Largest Corvette Dealer at 2:00 PM. Refreshments will be served and Corvette door prizes will be available, and new C6 coupes and convertibles on display and available for test drives.
