Orange City, Florida Karate for Kids School Gives Gift to the Community/Mayor

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 22, 2004 -- Karate for Kids Family Center will be presenting the symbolic gift of over 3000 Random Acts of Kindness to the Honorable Mayor Albert Erwin of Orange City, this Monday, December 13th at 4:00pm. The students of Karate for Kids have been participating in the Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK) program for the last 4 weeks, and have collectively provided over 3000 deeds to their community so far this December.

�The Karate for Kids program is designed to build the highest moral character of each child and to inspire each student to improve themselves and their community by taking positive action.� said Toby Milroy, Chief Instructor of the Orange City Location. �The focus of this project is to teach the lesson of service, which is vital to build strong leadership. Those who are the greatest leaders, are keenly attuned to the needs of their peers and constituents. That is why I am so happy our Mayor is able to come to our school and accept this gift to the community. His career has been built on serving his community.�

The Karate for Kids system is a very popular martial arts program for children and adults in Orange City, Port Orange and Ormond Beach Florida.
