mUrgent Corporation announces its expansion into the Asian market.

Santa Ana, CA – August 20, 2004 – mUrgent Australasia (www.murgent.com.au) has named Mike Chan of Vbiztechnologies as the exclusive reseller of EMPACT automated e-marketing software for Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, according to company president, Wayne Drinkwater.

"Chan is currently finalizing a network of reseller and retailers in each of these three fast-growing Asian markets, and we project he will generate at least 5,000 new EMPACT user clients," said Drinkwater, who opened mUrgent's Pacific Rim office in Brisbane in February, 2004.
Chan's Vbiztechnologies is a logical marketing fit for mUrgent, because it specializes in providing software and wireless solutions to small companies throughout the region. Chan also has close ties with the Hong Kong and mainland China business community. Drinkwater and Chan are currently developing a Mandarin Chinese version of the EMPACT software suite specifically for that region.
Beyond Asia
While supporting Chan in Asia, Drinkwater is concluding reseller agreements with Sydney's BOSS Software International. BOSS established itself as a leader in the financial services software market in 1996. Since then BOSS has experienced remarkable growth; providing financial architecture to over 7,000 customers worldwide. He has also started negotiations with resellers in South Africa, the United Kingdom and India which he plans to have concluded this Fall. He projects these markets to create tens of thousands of new EMPACT users per year.
