In the same way that Fluent simplifies complex processes for its customers, Perceptive Software streamlines the storage, organization, routing and retrieval of burdensome paperwork and important documents. The software-savvy Fluent executives were impressed with ImageNow's approach to creating sophisticated yet user-friendly technology.

"We own a lot of business software. Most of it drives us crazy because of the complexity," said Tracey Becken, director of administrative services at Fluent. "Everything with ImageNow is so intuitive, simple and straightforward. It performs complex tasks so simply and it works on everything."

Fluent recognized the need for an electronic document imaging solution, but had not intended to make a software purchase. However, a demonstration of ImageNow functionality made an immediate impression on Becken and her colleagues.

"Actually, document imaging was not part of our plan for this fiscal year," said Becken. "But when we saw ImageNow, we knew we had to have it now."

Fluent currently uses ImageNow in the AP and AR departments at its headquarters in Lebanon, N.H., and will implement the solution in nine offices worldwide. The ImageNow OCR agent allows Fluent users to link shipments to invoice details by purchase order number, and bar-coded expense forms are scanned and instantly auto-routed to supervisors for approval.

"Perceptive Software did such a great job of organizing the implementation," said Becken, "When they arrived on site the process was simple. Almost everything was installed on the first day."

Perceptive Software's patented integration technology (LearnMode�) makes it possible for Fluent to quickly and cost-effectively scale the benefits of ImageNow to meet any document imaging need. Expansion is planned for the Customer Service and Human Resources departments. ImageNow also will provide Fluent associates across the globe with simultaneous, single-click access to a centralized, marketing collateral database.
